My Turn

I'm here!
Well I made it all the way to the other side of the world. It's not so bad over here, just seems like a beach with no ocean. The weather has been rather cold and pretty darn wet. You know how when you dig in the sand on a beach and eventually you run into nothing but water? Well, its like that here... like there's some sort of water table underneath.

All the comforts of home can be found here, but im fine with my laptop. I don't have internet service on that yet, but when I get to Iraq, i'll try my best to be on there all the time.

I do miss everyone, but it kinda seems like how it always is... going back to Oklahoma may as well be the same as going to Iraq, I still cant go home. At least i'll be making some decent money here.

So what else... im doing well. No major complaints. Right now I'm actually trying to get out of some class on LMTV's... whenever we have free time, they try to make us do something... learn something we've already been taught. You can only learn so much from a vehicle by simply being told. It's much easier to work on it and learn that just watch.

My birthday was yesterday, nothing extraordinary happened. At least a couple people said happy birthday. Well I must go...

I wrote a journal entry on my laptop, but i'll have to post it up at a later date.
